The Police and District Attorneys send their friends to Bruce Edge

The following three Oklahoma police comments are telling.
In the first instance Bruce had cross examined the officer extensively and they were chatting in the hallway after the hearing had ended. The officer asked for several of Bruce’s card and said:
“I have good kids and I don’t think they will get in trouble, but if they do, I want them to call you”
In another hearing the officer left the court room after an extensive cross examination by Bruce and saw Bruce's client in the hallway. He walked to the client and asked how much he had paid Bruce. The client declined to say an amount and the officer gruffly said:
“However much it was, you sure got your money’s worth!”
The last example involved a hearing in which Bruce thought he had been very courteous and kind to the officer. He did ask direct questions and did get the answer he wanted. After the hearing the officer told a relative and former police officer:
“He's the toughest I have ever faced!”
