Kenzey Edge

When Medical Records Tell the Story, Kenzey Edge Reads Between the Lines.

A criminal defense case can turn on a single detail buried inside a stack of medical records. Kenzey Edge makes sure that detail doesn’t get missed.

As a Registered Nurse with nearly a decade of hands-on clinical experience, Kenzey brings a perspective to The Edge Law Firm that few defense teams have: the ability to read medical records not just as documents, but as a working clinician who understands what they mean in real-world care settings.

Her role is straightforward and powerful. When your case involves a health condition, injury, hospitalization, substance use, mental state, or medical history, Kenzey translates that information into clear, usable insight for your legal team.

Clinical Experience That Works for Your Defense

Kenzey’s nursing career spans medical-surgical care, cardiology, and emergency medicine. She currently works in a local emergency room, where high-pressure, high-stakes situations are the norm. She collaborates daily with physicians and healthcare teams to make fast, accurate decisions for patients in crisis — the same precision she applies to your case file.

She also brings significant experience working with patients undergoing drug and alcohol detoxification, including monitoring acute withdrawal, managing stabilization, and addressing the full range of related medical concerns. In criminal defense, this experience matters. It means she understands the clinical realities behind substance use allegations, medical emergencies, and the physical and psychological factors that can directly affect a client’s situation.

Medical records often contain complex terminology, layered timelines, medication histories, clinical notes, and treatment decisions that can be difficult to interpret without formal training. Kenzey identifies what’s relevant, explains what it means, and flags what matters most to your defense.

Credentials & Continuing Education

Kenzey began her healthcare career earning her Licensed Practical Nurse credential in 2017. She later completed her Registered Nurse degree and Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2023, following her studies at Tulsa Community College and Oral Roberts University.

She holds multiple clinical certifications and continues to advance her medical training. She is currently working toward becoming an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner — a role that will expand her clinical authority, including the ability to prescribe medications, and further strengthen her ability to evaluate the medical issues that affect our clients’ cases.

A Critical Advantage for Your Case

When a case touches anything medical — a diagnosis, a hospital stay, a prescription, a physical condition, or a substance-related incident — the details inside those records can be the difference between conviction and freedom.

Kenzey’s emergency room experience, clinical judgment, and careful attention to documentation give The Edge Law Firm a meaningful advantage. She ensures that nothing is misunderstood, nothing is overlooked, and every medical fact is working in your favor.
