Stephen Edge, like his father Bruce and brother Jason, is no stranger to the spotlight. Clay Ballenger

Clay was commissioned as an Army Officer through ROTC at The University of Oklahoma in 1995 and served in the Army Reserve for 11 years while simultaneously serving as a Police Officer in Tulsa. In 2005-2006, he was deployed to Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom, spending one year as an Embedded Trainer with the Afghan National Army. For his service in combat, Clay was awarded the Bronze Star Medal and attained the rank of Captain.

He currently serves as the Commander of The American Legion Post 1 in Tulsa — the world’s largest veteran service organization. Tulsa’s Post 1 is one of the oldest posts in the country and the largest by membership in the state of Oklahoma.
