Erica Shafer was born and raised in the southern suburbs of Boston, Massachusetts. After spending time in undergrad at George Washington University in Washington DC and Emerson College in Boston, she graduated Cum Laude with memberships in the Gold Key Honor Society and the Lambda Pi Eta Communication Society.
After college, she attended New England School of Law on a full first-year scholarship. Her past legal experiences include an internship at the Boston Traffic Court Psychological Court Clinic and summer work at one of Boston’s largest firms during the tobacco trials. In 2005, she moved to Oklahoma and settled into the non-profit sector for ten years before taking up legal work again.
In her spare time, she is an advocate for animals and educational organizations, loves tracing the roots of her husband’s Oklahoma family, and traveling to visit with her family on the East Coast. She strongly believes in keeping the legal system open, available and understandable to all people and is grateful for the opportunity to assist our clients in navigating the system.
Amanda Griffith is from Tuscaloosa, Alabama. She is a graduate of the University of Alabama at Birmingham and majored in Criminal Justice with a minor in Psychology. Following graduation, she moved to Oklahoma where she has pursued her career in the criminal field.
For the past six years, she has worked in the Oklahoma Court system, first in Ardmore we she took on a role that encompassed the entire court clerking system and then in Tulsa County Court with an emphasis on criminal courts. She has especially focused on working in the arraignment courts and is extremely knowledgeable about the legal process.
In her spare time she loves traveling, fishing and spending time with her Beagle, Bo Lee. She is also a college football fanatic – especially when it comes to the Crimson Tide. Roll Tide!
A vital member of the team at The Edge Law Firm, Sarah is certified in Standardized Field Sobriety Tests and provides technical support to clients and staff.
Sarah grew up in Montana where she developed a love of the outdoors and hiking in Glacier National Park. She began her career as a professional golfer in California and Arizona. After a successful career in golf, she and her family moved to Oklahoma where she has become an accomplished chef and has also begun painting. Sarah has two children and a dog named Elvis who is a cherished member of the family.
